RIP all those well-crafted, insightful, and timely messages I almost send in @SlackHQ, but accidentally abandon without hitting retur
@peduarte @andyshora @phunkren I have some on the wall behind my monitor, but to be honest it doesn't seem like it did much. The mic change made the difference.
I'm about to get sent some kit for a bit of an upgrade for a voiceover project. I'll report back my results.

@peduarte @andyshora @phunkren Yeah I have mine as close as I can get it without being in shot, and directed at my chin.

@peduarte @andyshora @phunkren A rug will help a bit without imposing too much on your swanky minimal aesthetic.
I tried a few things before upgrading my mic to a Shure SM7B, turning the gain down a little, and getting a bit closer. That made an immediate impact.

@Jack_Franklin @DavidDarnes I’d vote into the “interested but would only be able to attend from time to time” column.
Also, like @Jack_Franklin, I’d volunteer to give a talk in order to blag a spot and make the trip.

More nostalgic moments at #SmashingConf as @danrubin affectionally mentions Fireworks.
Just give me Homesite to go along with it and I'll be back in 2004 and cheerful.
