@EmmettNaughton @zachleat @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify Serverless functions lesson 1:
Even a *tiny bit* of exception handling might be smart.
Fix incoming.
@zachleat @chriscoyier @hankchizljaw @Netlify 4 years and millions of deploys later, I've retired this and replaced it with an Edge Function.

@Deh_Rehk YES!
I'm a sucker for lines and boxes.
I have to go through this stage when I plan to build anything that isn't mindbogglingly simple.

@johnallsopp @ChrisFerdinandi @webdirections @stringy Feeling the importance of this too.
Huge value in being able to get together at events. But also huge value to a wide audience who can't attend, so providing both in-person and virtual options is tricky but important.
Working on exactly that for @jamstackconf in November

@johnallsopp @ffconf @slightlylate @btconf @smashingconf Time to start the campaign for @smashingconf to expand to Sydney
@johnallsopp @ffconf @slightlylate Yes!
Funny though. I thought we solved all of this then over late night drinks and animated debate. What on earth happened?!
I miss @ffconf. Sad that I can't be there this year due to a clash.

@jh3yy It looks massive in this photo though
@johnallsopp @ffconf I'm sorry... I seem to be full of spice today. :)
@johnallsopp @ffconf Right?
I think we invested it in building frameworks that found new ways to make the same mistakes or solve the same solved problems as before. But with a snazzier DX.

Today I had cause to look at slides from a talk I gave at @ffconf in 2011 called "Excessive Enhancement". It was a cautionary tail of web development.
I fear I could give a talk with the exact same slide deck today and it would be just as pertinent as I felt it was then 😢

@modernfrontends @TejasKumar_ Woohoo!
@jh3yy @TejasKumar_ @webdevconf @modernfrontends Still trying to see if I can squeeze in a trip to Bristol as an enthusiastic attendee for @webdevconf.
@DavidDarnes Delighted to hear that you're in a much better place now, friend. You deserve all the good stuff. x

EVERY song ever recorded needs to be republished as a #trombonechamp version please.
I'll wait.
I'll wait.
@jh3yy @TejasKumar_ You’re probably talking about something else, but if you’re referring to https://www.modernfrontends.live/ … we’ll, I have news.
@rafahari I’m just relieved you don’t have photos of my Rafa-themed bedding.
@rafahari Do what you like, but I’ll be using this to updated the giant portrait I hang on my wall.
@seldo Hard to say
